Jed is involved in the general management of several key phases of the business.  He is integrally involved in the review of the land selection process by quality controlling and reviewing the design, due diligence and estimating of the land acquisition.  He also provides problem solving and direction to the teams involved in these areas.  He is also involved in the quality control and provides direction for disposition efforts.  As the Director of Construction and Engineering, Jed is responsible for the day-to-day construction and city coordination of the projects.

Prior to joining Skorburg Company, Jed spent over four years with Jones & Boyd, Inc. and Kimley-Horn & Associates, as a consulting engineer.  Where he developed expertise in the design and construction of public infrastructure associated with single family developments, flood plain management, land planning, annexation, zoning, platting, residential subdivision design, commercial site design, contract administration and construction management.

Jed earned a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University, a master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Stanford University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
