![]() Sachse Farms is a neighborhood with a rich history. William C. Sachse came to America from Herford, Prussia in 1840. Shortly after his arrival, he secured close to 6,000 acres on which he erected one of the first cotton mills and gins in the country. In 1886 the railroad came through Mr. Sachse’s land and he traded the right-of-way for a depot and named the town Sachse. Sachse Farms sits on a piece of land purchased from Donald Sachse, a decendant of William C. Sachse. To honor the Sachse family and their contributions to the City’s history, the community was named Sachse Farms. This community is selling out quickly due to its rolling landscape, quality builders, and attractive homes. |
